Ronnie Maxwell
Ronnie has his law practice, Maxwell Law Firm, in two locations - Aiken and North Augusta, South Carolina. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina in 1973 and his J.D. degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1976. He served as Law Clerk for the late Federal Judge Charles E. Simons, Jr. in Aiken from 1976-1978. Ronnie is a past President of the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association and also past President of the Injured Workers’ Advocates. He practices personal injury law including automobile collisions, premises liability, and workers’ compensation. He is assisted in practice by his three associates, Christy Tyner, Jeanne T. Norris, and Zachary J. Moulton.
Ronnie has been honored by the Best Lawyers Publication for many years and has been named a Super Lawyer by that publication as well. In 2019, he was named Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers for the Augusta Region which includes Aiken and North Augusta where he practices. The South Carolina Association of Justice awarded him the Matthew J. Perry Public Service award recently. In addition to his legal honors, Ronnie has served as a member of Aiken City Council, on the Board of United Way of Aiken County, President of the American Cancer Society, President of the North Augusta Chamber of Commerce, and currently is Chairman of the Capital Campaign for Children’s Place.
Ronnie and his wife, Bonnie, has a blended family including six children and six grandchildren. They are active members of Cedar Creek Church where Ronnie has served on the Board of Deacons. He and Bonnie have both served in Kidz Creek and have also served as HOME Group leaders.

Jeanne Norris
Jeanne Townes Norris is an Aiken native and joined the Maxwell Law Firm in 2006, as an associate attorney. She is married to Kristopher Norris of Lexington, South Carolina and they have two children. A member of the South Carolina Bar, Jeanne Townes Norris is admitted to practice in both state and federal court in South Carolina and is a certified mediator. She earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2005 as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications, magna cum laude, from University of South Carolina in 2002 where she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.
Jeanne Townes Norris practices in the areas of workers’ compensation/on the job injuries and tort litigation. Her focus is on helping individuals who were injured, and seeing that they receive all benefits they are entitled to under the law. She is currently a member of South Carolina Association of Justice as well as the South Carolina Association of Injured Workers’ Advocates, where she serves on the CLE committee. She also serves as a representative on the South Carolina Bar’s Worker’s Compensation section.
In addition, she enjoys serving the community she is from and where she is now raising her family. She has been involved in the Aiken Junior Women’s Club and the Aiken Chamber of Commerce in the past and currently serves as Vice President on the Board of Children’s Place. Jeanne works out of both the Aiken and North Augusta offices.

Christy Tyner
Christy Chapman Tyner is
a native of Aiken, South Carolina.. Christy obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina Aiken in 2001. In 2004, she received her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law. After graduation law school, Christy served as the Law Clerk to the Honorable Steven H. John, a resident Judge of the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit.
She began working at Maxwell Law Firm in September of 2005, focusing on Plaintiffs personal injury, handling matters such as motor vehicle collisions, dog bite/attack cases, and slip and fall cases. Christy was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2005, the United States District Court District of South Carolina in 2006, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit in 2018.
Christy is married to Richard Tyner of Barnwell and they have two children. She became a member of the South Carolina Association for Justice in 2006 and joined the SCAJ Board in 2021.. She is the past president of the Aiken County Bar Association and currently serves as the Professional Division Co-Chair for the United Way of Aiken County, as well as serves as a United Way Board Member. In 2011, Christy was honored with receiving the United Way of Aiken County's Young Leader Award and Special Event of the Year Award for the Annual Bachelor and Bachelorette Auction.
Christy served as the Aiken Chair for the Young Lawyers Division Cinderella Project from 2006 to 2016, helping nearly 100 young ladies each spring receive a dress and accessories for prom. Christy has served on the Midlands Citizens Committee on Judicial Qualifications since 2013.

Zachary Moulton
Zachary (Zack) Moulton is a native of Aiken County and grew up in Graniteville, South Carolina. He joined the Maxwell Law Firm in 2017 as an associate attorney. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, magna cum laude, from the University of South Carolina Aiken in 2012 where he was a member of the Pi Gamma Mu Honor Society. In 2015, he received his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he was inducted into the Order of the Wig and Robe and the Order of the Coif.
Zack is a member of both the South Carolina and North Carolina bars. He focuses on Plaintiffs personal injury cases such as motor vehicle collisions, dog bite/attack cases, and slip and fall cases. Additionally, he handles probate and estate planning matters including wills, trusts, and estate administration.
Zack enjoys working directly with clients and helping them achieve successful resolution of their legal problems, whether it is helping clients plan their estate or helping an injured client recover all of the benefits they are entitled to under the law.
Zack serves as the Second Circuit Representative for the South Carolina Young Lawyers Division. He is a member of the South Carolina Association for Justice. He enjoys serving the community where he grew up and lived for most of his life. He is married to Elizabeth Moulton of Graniteville, South Carolina, and they have two children. They are members of Town Creek Baptist Church in Aiken.
